It's Gonna End Soon.. Very Soon...
Hi people,
My pregnancy is about to end. Keira is gonna meet all of you soon. Went to see Dr.Tang this morning, I'm 1.5cm dilated. Well if I want to give birth in these 2 days, I can be induced, but there're some advantages of induction. So I choose to just let her decide when it's the best time for her to come.
Keira is already 3kg =.=" (39 weeks and 2 days)To mommies out there, I'm joining you guys soon!
Woke Up with Worries and Fears
I have been very alert these few days, wake up in the middle of the nights... my sis in law said it's a mom-to-be thingy... but here I am now... awake... cannot sleep... because I just had a bad dream which led me to think of bad things that could ever happen to my family... thought of the news keith read, that a person was eaten by 3 white tigers in spore zoo yday :'(
I worried about Keith and Keira, worried about my family, my bro that's working in Jakarta, my sis that's alone in Sydney... my mom and dad in Indonesia...
I have to keep reminding myself that God is looking after them, and God responds to a faith-filled prayer.
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God (Phil 4:6)"
"You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. (Isa 26:3)"
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Tim 1:7)"
Life is fragile but GOD is in control! and yes, GOD has a good plan and future for us.
38 Weeks
Last night was the first time I felt what it's called "braxton hix contractions", or false labor. Gosh.. it was quite painful (only for few seconds). I can't imagine how much more painful the real labor is. Thank God for epidural!
And have you ever heard of the terms "nesting instinct"? Well, i thought of birds and chicken when I first read about it :P but what it actually means is that the mom-to-be will suddenly have the urge to clean up the house, and it's one of the sign that the labor is near (btw, then the book says it's near.. it means somewhere between few hours to few weeks). And guess what, in these 2 weeks I have been excited cleanig the house. Hehe...
I can't wait to deliver, can't wait to enjoy a light tummy... Went to hospital today, the doctor told me a bad news, that i'm having a type of bacteria, which 15-40% healthy women have during pregnancy... good news is, there's an antibiotic I can take and an injection that I must have during delivery so that it can be cured and the baby wont be affected.
It's gonna be a great delivery.. just few more days before I have to wake up every 2 hours =D
The Best Shopping in 8 Months
I can't remember being in a shopping mall for more than 2 hours (unless it was for a movie) during my pregnancy.... I got easily tired after walking for only an hour.
But.. yesterday was the best day to shop.
We were in One-U, walking and shopping for at least 5 hours without rest. And then dinner and movie, so in total it was about 8 hours. Shopped a lot for Keira. Stroller, diaper bag, baby bottles, bottles sterilizer, breastpump, diaper bag, thermos, etc etc... It was the best shopping in these 8 months!!! We are so so blessed...
Even after we reached home, i was so excited... checking the stuff, esp the new diaper bag, gosh... it's what i like the most.
I only realized that I was very tired when I was about to sleep. Now the house is almost almost ready for the baby, just a few more items ^^ Yay!!!
During The Pregnancy
It's almost the end of my pregnancy... Finally... I can't wait to lie on my tummy again... Wear high heels... Nice clothes... Colour my hair...
There are few things that I hardly fail to do during this pregnancy, such as:
1. Eat wholemeal bread every morning (I really really dont like bread btw)
2. Low fat yogurt
3. Milk everyday
4. Read read and read... (I read a book cover to cover twice in less than 6 months, which never happened before... read many many articles about pregnancy, health and baby care )
5. Wear crocs almost everyday other than Sunday, no more high heels after Emerge..
6. Think about coffee.. (only drink max 1 cup/day)
7. Oh btw.. hardly fail to drink Teh-O-ice - it's my drink cravings throughout the 2nd n 3rd trimester.
8. Watch cartoon (seriously...)
9. Sleep more than usual (I think that's why I don't get moody much hehehe...)
Lately, got a lil bit pain here and there.. but... doctor says it's a good sign, baby is being pushed down lower and lower, and btw... Keira is a tiny baby, might be about 2.7-2.9kg only when she comes out, but it is totally fine. Delivery might be easier too (I hope).
I pray she will be a bundle of joy, not just to our family but to many people...
Preparing into Her Real Life
33 Weeks and 6 days... just 6 more weeks...
Keira's head is down already. Doctor said the sharp shape on baby's head is usually caused by her position in the womb. If the baby's head is down too early, then it will have sharper head for the first few weeks. So i guess Keira will have one. Haha...
Let's see.......... *smile*
Goshhhh i can't wait.............................................
What a Lovely Wife
The journey from Sunway to Old Klang seemed a lil bit far because both Keith and I were not familiar with the place at all... well, it probably took us about 40 minutes to send Keith's member home after CG and then came back to Subang...
On our way home, Keith asked "do you want to see the condos that i mentioned to you?" (usually i will say no because i want to go home and rest, that is my typical answer and Keith expected that kind of answer), but surprisingly i told him "OK! let's go!!", he was speechless :P so we drove to Old Subang Airport area... (the condos are really very nice)
On the way back, at the federal highway my husband asked "we should turn to this junction right?", with full confidence i said "no dear, it's another one"... lo and behold, there's no more junction, we have to pay RM1.10 toll to go to Klang/Shah Alam *sigh* what a long journey (remember we just came back from Old Klang, then Old Subang Airport...) . well honestly the journey wasn't a nice one... both of us were a bit tired now and we were not familiar with this place too, oh yeah before that we almost bang a cat that suddenly run towards our car (silly cat...) and we also got honked by a car that was upset with us.
Finally... a tiring night was over, we were finally home and now we could enjoy our night time shower... so I opened the door of my bedroom, "ehh... cannot open one?" trying to defend myself, "i don't remember that i locked it..." (but i was the last one who left the room in the morning). Both Keith and I got no key to our room, cos we had never locked our bedroom!!!!!! Goshhhhhh... WHAT A NIGHT!! we tried to use card, hammer, other keys... all that we could, and after trying for 30mins maybe... finally the door was opened and....... all the lights were ON, the fan was ON (since morning).... again... i told keith "i dont remember turning them on".
Don't you think i deserve a punch on my face? I was waiting for my husband to be upset with me, but then, very gently he touched my tummy and asked "Is baby OK? Is she stressed? You took shower first ok?" (inside my heart I thanked God for a nice husband *evil laugh*)
What a lovely (read: troublesome and clumsy and forgetful and... you name it) wife I am ey?
